HI Impact Critical Care is a multidisciplinary critical care conference, held in the West of Ireland in the late Autumn each year. It is run by the Saolta Critical Care Group, NUI Galway Anaesthesia & Critical Care and the Saolta Sepsis Programme. The 2017 High Impact Critical Care Conference, which focused on Sepsis, took place at the Clayton Hotel, Galway, on November 22nd 2017 (300 attendees). The 2018 HICC Conference took place on Nov 8th 2018, focusing on Respiratory Critical Care (250 attendees). The 2019 Conference took place on Nov 9th 2019, focusing on Cardiovascular Critical Care (200 attendees). The 2023 HICC 4.0 conference will take place on Nov 10th 2023 – the focus will be on metabolic and renal critical care.
